I've seen countless films twice while they were in theater. The most I've ever seen a single film in the theater is Gladiator which is three times. While I think it's a great film, I only saw it a third time because the crowd I was with all voted to go and see it, I opted to see something else, but alas.

i went to spider-man: into the spider-verse 7 times in the theatre. i couldn't get enough of it. still can't.
i don't think i've seen anything else more than twice.
I'm thinking about adding to my record. Cary Ewes Is coming to Arizona. You get to watch Princess Bride and then he fields questions.....Is that worth 200$?

Can't recall ever having seen a film three times in a cinema. A few I've seen twice, mostly from when I was a kid... so Ghostbusters, Gremlins, Back to the Future.
Last movie I remember seeing twice was Dancer in the Dark - because I tagged along a second time with a friend who wanted to see it, but felt it would be strange to go on their own [casual movie fans are weird]...
Anyway, it's been a while.
I think four, I remember doing that for Independence Day. Last time I saw a movie multiple times it was for the LOTR trilogy

Ironically I have watched it only once since.
I know several people that saw this film in the theater at least five times. I'm surprised that Titanic is not one people are mentioning much more. It was a film that seemed to always have a steady flow of people at the box office for such a long time hence its amazing results.
