Your thoughts on him? A good comedian??? I'm not too familiar with his work. I'm not too keen on "shock" humor though. I'm more into "smart" comedians with a substance and "acid wit".

Terrible set aside, he peaked at the right time of the comedy club scene. His material would be dead on arrival if he debuted today.
shareI agree with everyone thus far. From the limited stuff I've seen on him, I haven't been impressed. He does seem like a massive douche in real life in interviews. Although, this may be his "shock" persona and not actually him.
shareToo long ago to be sure, but I most likely thought he was funny. Today, Gilbert Gottfried imitating Andrew Dice Clay makes me laugh more than the original.
