Your favorite type of pasta dishes?
I love classic Spaghetti and Meatballs. I know boring. Just curious what are yours? Never really cared for Alfredo...

shareNever met a pasta I didn't like. My favorites are Bucatini Amatriciana, Pappardelle Bolognese and fresh Ravioli with Sunday Sauce.
shareLove all kinds of pasta but this is probable my favorite:

Lasagna.
shareNot a fan of pasta. It sits like a rock in my gut and makes me feel logy for hours. And it doesn't poop well. I prefer buttered noodles with a little garlic and parsley. Real simple. Staple of my diet in my 20s when I was the dirt poor below poverty. I had like 8 dollars a week to buy food with. I will happily never eat it again.
shareBest pasta dish I ever had was a Sicilian dish: 'Pasta con di le Sarde'
Spaghetti with fresh sardines, raisins, pine nuts, and seasoned with fennel, and coated with some crunchy panko bread crumbs. A taste explosion.

Spaghetti but not meatballs. I put the meat directly into the sauce. One part sausage, two parts ground beef. Mix that in with some Prego or Ragu, add a little olive oil to bring that proportion back up to where it should be, and I'm all set.
But I do have one hard and fast rule. I never eat spaghetti or any other noodle dish with a woman until at least the tenth date. It's simply impossible to look suave and studly while sucking noodles into your mouth. Seriously -- have you ever seen James Bond eating spaghetti?
You have to twirl it with your fork with a spoon assist. Some say it's poor dining etiquette. I say it works.
