Minari deserves to win the Best Picture Oscar
I'm Asian but not being biased. It deserves to win. Period. Any questions?

shareToo bad, the Asian movie being best picture quota was used last year.
This year they'll probably pick some movie directed by a black dude. Nowadays, to win an Oscar you need to wait until the year the quota falls in your group.
KKX race-baiting, again.
shareWhat is the OP doing?
shareKeelai is obsessed with the KKK. I've already said that my nick is a Basque word that means 'flea', but he's convinced it's some kind of secret code that refers to KKK to subtlety say that I'm a member or some shit like that π€£
It's kinda interesting, though, in its own way. Watching that type of behavior, you understand why centuries ago some people could become convinced there were witches everywhere. Same mindset.
People wouldn't associate your name with KKK unless you were always racist. Which you mostly are.

Yep. Sad but true. And the black actor who died will probably win best actor.
π
Why do you think it it deserves to win? I haven't seen Minari yet, but I would pick Nomadland to win.
shareI have a question πββοΈ
Whatβs Minari?
there's no buzz around this movie
share
That's cause Nomadland is gonna win. Its director, Chole Zhao has already won, and Frances McDormand will win best actress.
π
since i have by no means seen even most of the nominiees, am not qualified to venture an opinion, other than to say that nomadland is one of the most powerful films i've seen in some years, and mcdormand was magnificent in it. the role just suited her nature.
another fine film mcdormand was in in recent years was Olive Kitteridge, which my sister tells me is an adaptation of a fine novel.
