Too many to list but here are some who’s filmographies I have looked up and have watched many of their more unknown movies. None of these are A listers, but I love seeing all of them on screen:
Christopher Connelly
David Warbeck

John Saxon
Cameron Mitchell
Henry Silva
Franco Nero
Ivan Rassimov
Barbara Steele
Michael Parks
Interesting about Barbara Steele. She was an accomplished producer. I'm thinking of two favorites of mine, The Winds of War (1983), and War and Remembrance (1988), where she also took a couple of small parts.
shareWhat makes an accomplished producer? I thought they were just the money and ultimate say over direction.
Maybe I'm nit-picking. I suppose I could go to IMDb and look up her Producer credits and see what sort of projects she helmed, but being a Movie Producer always makes me think it's someone who has a lot of $$ who just invests it to make more. I'm probably mistaken.

I LOOKED...NINE CREDITS AS PRODUCER...THE TWO MINI-SERIES MENTIONED BY NYCTC7 ARE THE ONLY THINGS IVE HEARD OF OUT OF THE NINE.
OK guys I admit threw in the word 'accomplished' because I'm a big fan of Winds of War and War and Remembrance. I watched some DVD bonus features where it was apparent that the logistics of these productions were enormous and as Associate Producer (Winds) and Producer (Remembrance) she had to accomplish quite a lot.
The Producer credit is a tricky one as it is not always clear what role is being played. Yes in some cases it might just be a passive investor. But it can also be someone who works very, very, hard at getting the thing made.
Janet Hubert. Thr first Aunt Viv from Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. She's a phenomenal actress.
