On the 11th HOUR they were just discussing how those who chose to not get VACCINATED will need to get COVID TESTING before they can FLY, and before they can eat out at a restaurant, etc. where they'll also be required to wear a MASK (whereas others who are vaccinated won't need to wear one).
So that also means others will also know who those are who are NOT VACCINATED by the way that the UNVACCINATED will be still be forced to wear a MASK while in public.
Could this also result in other people SPITTING on them or SHOVING them and doing other things to them that are currently being done to those of ASIAN heritage???
Many vaccinated people will continue to wear masks in public from now on for the simple reason that it will decrease the likelihood of catching something else in the future. Influenza is still with us, and who knows what else is coming in the future.
Well put Steve!!! Since the article says the vaccine isn't 100% effective, it does make sense that one should continue to wear a MASK as a way to prevent one from catching COVID or something else that could also pop up in the FUTURE.
And it's also interesting how the number of FLU cases have also declined with the wearing of a MASK.
It's not interesting so much as it is common sense. Less contact with people equals less flu. And have fun patting each other on the back about wanting to wear masks forever. Fucken retarded. It's like youse prefer the " new normal ". I bet you were a cartoon hall monitor at school. People like you need to mind your own fucken business.
Covid-19 infections are on the rise across the country, with Michigan (+50%) among the states witnessing the largest spikes, according to Johns Hopkins University.
Michigan cases have been climbing since the last week of February, and the state has reported the second highest number of cases of the B.1.1.7 variant, first identified in the United Kingdom.
“We are in the 4th quarter of this fight against the pandemic. It is not over yet. It is no time to spike the football,” Whitmer said. “It is time for us to grit our teeth and keep doing the work we need to do until the last second of this event plays out. If we want to get back to normal…we all need to get vaccinated, encourage our loved ones and friends and co-workers and neighbors to do so.”
Morse said the rollback of restrictions has led to poor mask wearing. She also said that news of emerging vaccines led people to believe they could relax some of the their hygiene habits such as wearing masks.

Covid will never be eradicated - that has been acknowledged by most scientists. At some point it will become endemic and remain with us until the end of time - just like the flu.
I mentioned germs because with all of the mask wearing, hand washing, social distancing we are making it less likely to catch colds, flu, etc. and that is making our immune systems weaker.
I'm 70, so if I'm tired of the Covid overkill you should be also, (assuming you are as young as I think you are.)
there are still millions of mostly harmless bacteria living rent free in your homes that your body is constantly responding to. Add a couple million on your own skin.
“We’re constantly exposed to microbes,” Dr. Akiko Iwasaki, an immunologist at Yale University, told the Associated Press Thursday. “Our immune system is always being triggered.”
And built-up immunity from childhood vaccines, as well as exposure to other viruses such as the common cold and seasonal flu, can’t disappear that quickly, Iwasaki added.
It’s a concept experts call the “hygiene hypothesis,” according to health staff at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. It’s the idea that people exposed to a variety of germs during childhood are able to build better immunity to them and other pathogens.
But the case differs with adults, experts say, who have already spent years fighting harmful bacteria and viruses, teaching their immune system to remove them as quickly as possible.
“Coming into contact with germs spurs an immune response, but it doesn’t do anything to make your immune system stronger,” they continued. “And this current period of contact with fewer germs does nothing to weaken the immune response you will be able to mount, as needed, in the future.”
“We still go to the grocery store, we still walk our dogs, we spend a little time in the park — that is more than enough exposure to bacteria that your body needs to function optimally.”
PS: The "LOVE IT or LEAVE IT/GET IT or GET OUT" remark should also indicate to you that you're also WRONG about the other incorrect assumption that you made about my age.
Because one is also OLD ENOUGH to know that someone YOUR AGE has heard that "LOVE IT or LEAVE IT" slogan before.
