Which one are you taking? I know I'm going to be in the minority on this, but I choose "Election."

I've never actually heard of this movie. Since I abhor politics of all kinds, a lot of the humor might be lost on me though. (I'm assuming it's making fun of the political process).

It's not political at all.

It's about a girl (Reese Witherspoon) who is running for school president and pretty much has no real opposition. One teacher (Matthew Broderick), can't stand her because she's an annoying goody two-shoes so he gets a likable, but idiotic football player to run against her. He'll do anything, even fix the election, to make Reese Witherspoon lose.
