Had a tiny leak in a PVC joint from some plumbing and while at the hardware store on my way to the plumbing section, I saw this flex seal spray rubber stuff. It was $4 for a small can. I thought what the heck, it will save me some time and mess rather than cutting and replacing the PVC. Sprayed on a few coats and the spot has remained dry for 48 hours. Who knows how long it will last, but it actually worked!

shareI have a concrete wall in my basement that is near or below the groundwater line. If we get intense rain the water starts to seep in. I sprayed it with Flex seal and it works. The water does not come in. However it has worn off a couple times over the years so it does require renewing.
A couple of years though, that's totally worth it! I was thinking if this repair lasts one year I would be really surprised.
