Best looking movie car?

Mine pick goes to the sexy lookin' Batmobile from Tim Burton's Batman movies. Just look at those curves.

I couldn’t tell you the year, make or model but that was one damn mean and oppressive car.

Jody's HemiCuda in Phantasm.

Interesting choice.

68 Mustang GT from Bullit
I'd prefer it in black or red though

The batmobile in the new Batman movie looks like that car.

I love the Burton Batmobile, but my favourite Batmobile of all is Adam Wests. And as there was a Batman '66 movie, that's the car that takes my vote here.

Honourable mention goes to Scooby-Doo's Mystery Machine (wanted one of those for real since I was a kid).

reply

Haha I loved the Adam West Batmobile, I had a toy of that too!

Ditto!

I like that one too, but it almost seems a bit dated. The only Batmobiles I don't like are the ones from Batman & Robin and the Nolan movies.

My pick is from television, not a movie -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z0rio3IPXXU

I wanted to buy one of these just so I could drive around town looking pissed off, but I realized I couldn't possibly do it as well as Patrick McGoohan.

That is one of the best reasons ever for wanting a car!

My favorite from TV is from an obscure British show called "The Champions" that aired in the US in late 60s. I would have been around 9 or 10 years old. It was a Jensen Interceptor and I really fell in love with that car. I can only find one picture (of the car used in the series) and it is not a profile shot.

That think is almost a dune buggy.

It's a Lotus Seven. I'd never heard of it until I stumbled across a fan site for The Prisoner a few years ago. Apparently you could buy a Seven as a kit and build it yourself back in the day.

I always liked the 1950 Mercury Monterey Coupe in Cobra (1986), it seemed so out of place yet cool at the same time.

reply

Very out of place.

The vintage Ferrari they trashed in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. 😩

reply

I wince every time they wreck an awesome car for a movie!

reply

Well it's still a vintage Ferrari... just needa a little makeover.
