My car was recently hit in the parking lot. I had to file a police report and report the incident to my insurance company. The guy who hit my car was a complete jerk about it and was yelling at me. First time that has ever happened to me. I cried so much that day... π

Call the police if there is enough damage and leave it to them. I got rear-ended in a fast food drive-thru, and the stupid girl was yelling at me, and then when I got out she held up her phone like it was my fault. Yeah, I was mad because who hits someone at a complete standstill at the window of a drive-thru? Anyway, just let the cops interact with the crazy people, and also, be happy you were not injured and are OK.

I've been in several. They're a pain in the butt, but the important thing is you're okay. The car is just a hunk of metal.
It can be replaced. You cannot be. So be grateful for that, and don't stress about it.

Numerous - no fatalities: -
First car at 17, driving on main a road, guy pulled out of a side road, my car was written off, he had no insurance.
Mid 20's, head on collision, the other driver took a bend too quickly and ended up on my side of the road - car written off.
Late 20's, passenger side crushed, the other driver was in a filter lane to turn left and decided to turn right - car written off.
Early 30's, I was parked up, an elderly gentleman reversed at high speed into me - car written off.
Mid 30's, on a motorway, an articulated lorry decided it wanted to be in the lane I was in and forced me at high speed into the central reservation barrier - car written off.
These are the major ones that I can remember - I've been very lucky that no-one got hurt.

That's nothing. I heard Intothenight got into a fatal accident when he was driving alone in Australian highway, steering the car only using his mind power. An obvious gay rammed his car from behind in an attempt to molest him.
Oh, at the time he was 8.
Yeah - I heard he was on the way to a truck stop, having just prevented a rape taking place.
