I've seen Richard Nixon, Mike Pence (got my picture taken with him) Laura Bush, Michelle Obama, Bob Hope, Neil Armstrong, Karl Rove, John Boehner, Ed McMahon, David Letterman, Jon Voight, David Steinberg, Pope John Paul II, Mathew Perry, Lauren Bacall and Dean Jones.

Stephen King, though, I'm from Maine and it used to be common to see him out and about in Bangor, e.g., at the grocery store, mall, book stores, and especially the public library. He also allowed trick-or-treaters to come to his house on Halloween. One time he and his wife Tabitha were next to me in line at the Bangor Mall movie theater to see Misery (1990).
