I love the 60’s-90’s country like George Straight, Hank, Haggard, Nelson, David Allen Coe and the rest. So when I hear this new “country” it makes my skin crawl. 👎

I’d agree with most mainstream country but if you’re including bluegrass and Americana in country there are several great current bands and artists. The Devil Makes Three are an excellent band, one of my favourites

I am only including what’s played on the popular country radio stations these days. I’m betting bluegrass and Americana are not included.

I think when it comes to new country I'm about a 99.4% hell no. There's that one or two earworm songs that you hate to begin with, but then it just eats away at good taste and you find yourself singing along.

Auto-tune is garbage and should be banned. The original function of this technology was to correct a section of a vocal if the singer got off-key. It saved having to do entire retakes of songs.

It was never intended to be used as a crutch to cover up a singer's lack of talent.

I can't stand Slayer. I'm don't even like most of their fans who think they're some transcendent band.
