Comedy movies that made you laugh your heart out

Hey peeps, I have been indulged in movie watching for the past few days because of the Virus-that -shall-not-be-named. You cant really do much inside your house you know. So, it is getting really sad watching all the upsetting news on the tv, so i have been trying to make my heart lighter.
I am into horror stuff but I cannot do it now XD. I read some articles like this one https://frogtok.com/top-10-best-comedy-movies-2020/, it lists some good movies but I thought, why not ask from the people directly.
Help me out guys

How could I have forgotten "The Birdcage"?

"Pink socks?"

"One does need a hint of color."

reply

Hahaha, love it!

The three funniest movies I've ever seen:

The Ref
Ruthless People
This Is The End

Honorable mentions are Don Knotts movies like: Shakiest Gun in the West, The Ghost and Mr Chicken, The Incredible Mr. Limpet

and Abbott and Costello movies

Recent movies: She gets a bad rap, but those Madea movies are funny.

I also forgot the Don Knotts movies. I have the first two that you mentioned included in a Don Knotts "Three Pack".

reply

I bet the third is The Reluctant Astronaut. It's good, but I like the first two better.

reply

Ha! You're right Keelai. It is "The Reluctant Astronaut". I remember seeing that at the Saturday kiddie matinee and laughing like crazy.

I was wrong about another thing, it's not the "Three Pack", it's called the "Reluctant Hero Pack". The fourth movie is "The Love God?"

I've never watched that one. All this talk about Don Knotts though, I really think I'll pop in one of these movies tonight.

reply

Yes - the Don Knotts movies !

Also, I forgot in my original response - 1980's "Private Benjamin".

Right? I wouldn’t watch madea movies for the longest time because I thought they’d be stupid. That shit is hilarious. This is the end👍

Wanderlust. Justin Theroux’s character slays me.

Comedy/documentary? The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia, that’s a train wreck I never get tired of watching.
