"My Cousin Vinnie" for starters! No matter how many times I watch it, I still laugh.
The same is true for, "This is Spinal Tap". I see something new or notice something different that strikes me funny every time I watch it.
"Galaxy Quest" is always good for laughs. It may be funnier to people like myself who were big Star Trek fans. We're familiar with the whole Sci-fi Convention scene, dressing up as aliens and nitpicking episodes to death mentality. I've only done the last one, (no Cons or costumes for me). But it's still enjoyable with great performances by the whole cast.
"Stand by Me" has some serious undertones, but the four young actors are superb and deliver a lot of funny dialogue.
"Tremors" always makes me laugh. Val and Earl are an unbeatable combination.
Going back further to the sixties, Mel Brooks, "The Producers" is a true comedy classic. The big "Springtime for Hitler" number had me rolling on the floor the first time I saw it.
And Zero Mostel's anguished yet hilarious, "I'm wearing a cardboard belt!" and "I want that money!" are priceless.
Well those are a few of my sure fire laugh getters. I wish you lots of laughs and hope you find something to enjoy.
