What is up with people who always have to have music playing?

These older chicks I work with absolutely have to have the radio on at all times. The worst part of this is they literally listen to fm radio, which cycles the same 20-30 songs over and over so I have to listen to the same shitty overplayed songs every day. Even when it’s songs I like I still don’t want to hear them over and over, it ruins them.

This drives me nuts because it is essentially just noise pollution, and yet they can’t function without it. Idiots. I want to put my head through a wall. My favorite part of the day is when everyone leaves and I am all by myself and it is quiet.

reply

Maybe they have the radio on 24/7 so they don’t have to listen to all your retarded questions.

reply

I don’t work in the same direct area as them, I’m up front on the window. But I can sure hear that shit loud and clear!

reply

You don’t even work, stop lying. All your post are fake and are designed to instigate, work people up, or fill your boredom with attention.

reply

What the fuck are you talking about, I don’t need or want your attention. Every last thing I post is motivated by my frustration or interest in genuine issues.

reply

I want to put your head through a wall too!

reply

Are you black or just like black D? Trying to figure out your angle here.

reply

Well moviebuff, I’m black and I love big black cock! Does this explain everything?
Good luck with hating everything about everyone. It seems like a miserable way to live, but that’s your choice.
Btw, I was just making a silly joke about wanting to put your head through a wall. I’m very confused about why my race, or the race of who I fuck should matter or explain anything. It’s cool though. Whatever works for you bro.✌️

reply

Because everything is selfish in nature, including all of the insincere bullshit virtue signaling you see on social media of upper middle class white folks claiming “I understand” to appear to be on the right side of history or to seem “woke” when in reality they not only have zero concern or understanding for the true implications of institutional racism but will soon forget about this tragedy and return to their privileged lives while the problem persists for those effected.

Similarly, you would only feel so passionately about my post if it directly impacted you.

reply

Here’s the deal doll. You think you’ve got everything figured out but you don’t.
I agree, there are a lot of people out there that are full of shit. There are a lot of people that are selfish. That doesn’t mean everyone is. There are also honest and good hearted people that genuinely care for the well-being of others.
I explained to you honestly and with my whole heart why I was so passionate about your post. I took the time to share my experiences with you because I thought you could learn something from someone that lives in a different part of the country than yourself.
Of course you can think and feel however you wish, but if you don’t listen and learn from other people’s experiences then what is the point of communicating with other people?
I’m passionate about race issues because I’ve seen racism and it’s disgusting. It hurts my heart because I don’t want anyone to be made to feel like they are less important. I get pissed off about stupid stereotypes about black people because they’re not true. It directly impacts me not only because I love my friends, but also because I have witnessed people be made to feel like they don’t matter, or treated like a criminal because they have black skin. It directly impacts me because I have a heart.
I see people on here all the time giving you good advice, or trying to show you different ways of looking at things. These are people that genuinely care and are trying to help you. Saying everything is selfish in nature is an easy way to disregard people. But if everyone is self motivated, why do people keep trying to help you? You don’t listen or take advice, yet people still try to look out for you. That’s because they’re good people, and even though you’re a pain in the ass, they still want what’s best for you. That should make you feel good, and feel grateful that people you don’t even know care about you.

I have two words for you ...
Cotton balls!

reply

Introduce them to Spotify or a similar music streaming service.

reply

I would but their playback device is a boombox w a cassette deck from the 90s

reply

They could play the music from their phones or any blutooth enabled device / speaker.

The great thing with this type of media is you can request a song to start the ball rolling and then it will intuitively pick what it thinks you'll like. With 60,000,000 songs on the playlist, you'll never have to listen to a rotating playlist.

Drag them into the 21st century!

reply

Oh yeah I’m well aware of streaming and automatic recommendations and how it plays similar songs, greatest thing ever. I wish old school radio would just die already.

reply

It has something to do with estrogen probably, women love music because it makes them horny. You can sue them for sexual harassment probably.

reply

Everything drives you nuts..... 🙄

reply

Oh, you would hate me😬

reply

I love music, I listen to music all the time. Just not shitty music on repeat at work.

reply

My local station plays a pretty wide variety of rock from the 60s-90s, I think you may just have a crummy local station

Get an Alexa or Siri, I got 4 recently for different areas of the house

I just tell each, 'Alexa, play Prince (or Metallica, Billy Joel, Van Halen....whatever) and it does it
You've got a concert just for you dude👍

I also ask Alexa And the SIRI perverted questions and they have snarky responses LOL...

reply

I have music on pretty much all the time, but I never listen to radio. When I leave my apartment I have my headphones on always. Music just makes everything better, I love listening to music while doing groceries.

reply

Oh Yes! Laundry, mowing the grass, cleaning the floors, doing dishes...Music makes every mundane task tolerable👍

reply

My friend moved to a big house with a big yard last year and she hates mowing the grass, so I offered to cut it once a week. It takes me about an hour and I just put on a some good album and have a good time, I seriously enjoy it AND I get a hot meal afterwards :D

reply

That's a fine arrangement
I find Metal or punk to be a great lawn mowing soundtrack...Sex Pistols, Maiden, Dio, Ramones...that is some awesome lawn ass kicking music!
