Rap or classical music?

Neither, classic rock is king.

Classical hands down. Vivaldi, Bach, Brahms, Beethoven above the rest IMO.
I have heard some rap I like. Not much though. My fondness for thrash metal comes from my ability to tune out lyrics (or simply not understand them) and regard the voice as just another instrument. Rap is usually too distinct in its lyrics to avoid hearing the message which completely spoils my experience in most cases. I might appreciate more of it in a language I don't understand or if more inarticulate. Maybe.
