When I first joined I was working in a college library, mostly in the computer lab dealing with printing issues and Microsoft formatting. So I was sitting at a computer all day everyday, because I was not busy at all, except during the final week of class. I don’t remember how I found this site. I think I just googled movie chat board or something .
I was looking for a movie chat forum.

shareWell what brought me to the IMDb board’s originally was trying to find something to do during work that didn’t involve actually doing work, and there were only so many public domain books available on Project Gutenberg that I wanted to read.

shareWhen I first joined MC (just for the films) I never even knew GD existed. I would watch a film, rate it on IMDB, then go to the specific page to read the comments and perhaps contribute. I think one day I must have clicked the GD link by mistake.
