At first glance the numbers seem alarming, but are they really? From what I can gather many of these new cases are younger people who probably won't have a serious illness. Arizona for example had 3 new deaths and over 2,000 new cases in one day. I realize hospitalizations/deaths can lag behind cases, but just maybe the new cases will help with the herd immunity we need.

Thanks. Man, i don't know, i just post the numbers. Crazy in AZ right now. Very depressing. So quiet. No one swimming, no tennis, no kids playing. Everything closed. Twilight zone. And major heat advisories. But you're right about the death rate, very low compared to New York in March and April.

shareSeveral doctors are saying that and then there are opposing views. For now, the best course of action for me to to start doing things in my life that are more normal but still with CAUTION. I avoid crowds, shop where there are very few people in the stores, and enjoy outdoor activities.
I want my almost 6 year old grandson to come and spend a week with us because I haven't spent any time indoors with him since early Feb. I talked to his dad about having him tested so he can. Right now - time with him is what I miss most.
