If your pet/pets could turn human for one day, what would you spend the day doing?

I’d take my aquatic turtle to the water park for sure. My dog, I ‘d spend all day shitting in the backyard and let him clean up after me for once.

If pets could turn human then I am taking the liberty to suggest that teleportation exists as well. I would take my cat to Africa to see lions in the wild to show him how good he has it in my house.

reply

Yeah, teach that kitty a lesson!
'No more shredding up the furniture or I'm leaving you here with this bunch'

If my spoiled cats turned human for the day, I'd make them clean MY bathroom since I spend so much time cleaning theirs! I'd also expect them to cook for me and scratch me behind the ears and massage my head. lol

If my lazy dog turned human, we'd probably just take a nap and then go for a walk. All she does is sleep when I'm at work. I doubt if she'd be a "human dynamo".

reply

And if this comes to pass be sure to largely ignore the cats as they pamper you...turnabout is fair play😉

reply

What makes you think my cats "ignore" me? I get plenty of attention when they are hungry or in the winter when they want to use me as a human heat lamp and snuggle in bed next to me. LOL Sometimes they even come around for no reason at all and climb on my lap (okay, it's usually when I am eating a tuna sandwich!) lol

reply

Oh, just because every cat I ever had acted like it was the King or Queen of Siam and I was lucky to be in the same room lol!

I appreciate cats for chasing off pests but I can no longer have them around, one of my children is very allergic:/

Dogs are too much work for me so I no longer keep any

I have rabbits now, they are cute and not very demanding

reply

Oh yes. Reminds me of that old line, dogs have owners, cats have staff.

My dog is not much work. She's old and likes to sleep a lot. If she was human for a day, I might ask her how she's able to sleep so much and why she refuses to go outside and pee when it's raining! She must have a bladder the size of an elephant's.

Yes, my cats act like royalty. But I never feel very guilty when I leave them for a long time. I work long hours and I know that they are at home, content and NOT missing me...until they notice that their food bowls are empty!

reply

Sounds like an amusing little gang you've got there😃

reply

Very amusing indeed! The one who is very tiny, Slippers, has decided that her favorite place to sleep is on MY pillow. I get a tiny corner of it.

reply

Any guy who owns a French Poodle, I don'r want to know the answer.

reply

I'd probably have to spend the day telling Mr. Kitty that he can't sit on my chest or tuck himself under my chin right now, because he'd suffocate me pulling that at human size.

And then I'd tell him the same thing every 10 seconds all day, because he's quite the slow learner.

Emily is a ball python so we'd probably sleep all day. Unless it's the one day a month to eat. Then we'd spend 2 minutes eating aaaaand... sleep all day. Or if it's 3 days later we'd take a quick shit and... sleep all day. Or if she's sick... we'd sleep all day coz she's 15 and never been sick.
I love my Emily. She's the ultimate low maintenance pet.

My cat and I would have a spa day.

reply

I'd let both my dog and cat make that decision for us..But it would have to be somewhere we'd be able to do a lot of talking.
I have a lot of questions.

reply

I would make my cats pay the thousands of dollars of vet bills they ring up.

reply

I'd ask my dog a lot of questions and finally find out what happened in his past to make him the way he is today. I would ask him a lot of things, like:

- who his first owners were
- how he became a stray
- how long was he a stray before he got caught by the dog-catcher and then was taken to the adoption agency
- what his real name was, rather than the one the adoption agency gave him
- what happened to him during his time as a stray
- if he fathered any puppies during that time (we all knew he wasn't a virgin dog when we got him, and later behavior at the dog hotel confirmed this)
- how he feels about his current family, especially me, and if he knows we love him or not, and if he loves us back
- why he's drinking so much water and peeing at night in the living room
- why he won't stop
- why he won't visit me in my room and sleep in there anymore
- why he doesn't like hearing people laugh
- why he won't play with dog toys
- who hit him in the past
- where his arthritis is bothering him
- why he won't spend time outdoors as much anymore, and insists on being let in all the time
- does he actually like it when I hug, kiss, and cuddle with him, or is he just tolerating me

I would eventually take him around town, let him see what he's missing as a dog, and convince him to stop drinking so much water and stop peeing in the house at night.
