Ridiculous stupid movies that are entertaining to you

Legion (2010)

I don't mean the series, the movie with Paul Bettany.

Rock Star (2001)
Shooter (2007)
Thunder Alley (1985)
Almost Famous (2001)
Angel (1984)

reply

Shooter has some pretty cool scenes. One of the more entertaining Wahlberg films.

reply

It's a great action film.

reply

I've never thought Almost Famous was ridiculously stupid. I really like it.

reply

I love the film. I can see how back then a young female could get by and in fact they did.

A boy his age though? I'm just nit picking and I see the film as a modern day adventure.

School of Rock (2003)
The Rocker (2008)
and now I think I'll go and listen to some music ... let's ROCK!!!

reply

The sad thing about School of Rock is the song they perform at the end for the contest is so weak compared to the other music in the film.

reply

I mean that describes 90% of the movies I'm into.

I see no one has mentioned Freddy Got Fingered though.

reply

It has some very funny moments.

A year or two ago I would have said the Karate Kid Part III, but in recent months a group of posters from its old IMDb page have been on this site, making the film trend with their childish antics towards one another. It was a fun (not good) movie, but not so much anymore. It can only be quoted so many times before the joke gets old. The Cobra Kai TV show isn't helping matters either.

reply

Rumour has it that several of the posters are the same person.

reply

Who knows? All I can say is that they ruined a fun movie, and a message board too.

reply

So many.

Weekend at Bernie's (1989)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990) - and II and III
Nightbreed (1990)
Problem Child 2 (1991)
Village of the Damned (1995)
Happy Gilmore (1996)

In conclusion, I love ridiculous stupid movies.

Top Gun (1986)

I love the film and have seen it dozens of times of the years. But I can still pick to pieces as well which is fun.

Pump the Volume a mix of silly and serious. The silly part being how clueless his parents are.
