I've had many lesbian women flirt with me. In my opinion very few of them are true believers. When a woman becomes a lesbian, they see themselves as off the market for men, and this actually uninhibits them a great deal, and in my experience, they flirt with dudes more than ever. I'm not talking about the hard core butchs and angry feminists, obviously. I have two female friends in my life, both who were lesbians for many years, and they both just one day up and dropped it and married a dude almost immediately. And they both gave the same reason. They couldn't take the drama. Straight up told me bitches be crazy and two crazy bitches under one roof was too much drama. One of em spit out some kids and became the family type and made me swear to never tell her man of her history.

I've had the same thing. It's weird and I could never really explain it. I found out that a girl I was casually meeting up with from time to time identified as a lesbian (specifically a Lesbian, not bisexual) but she still calls and acts pretty straight at times. She seems to be fascinated by Male reproductive organs despite the fact that she is openly telling people that she is a lesbian/gay.
I was always confused about that but your post atleast explains some of it, if its applicable in this case.
