shareI hate when someone is holding a gun on someone else and they just let that person get close enough to take the gun away from them or attack them.
shareSaved by the Bell:
Lying is an integral part of American sitcoms. They patronize the audience by having the characters "learn the lesson" at the end, only to lie again the next episode. Without lying, there would be no plot, and no show. The message becomes "If you're attractive and charming, you can get away with being a jerk and you'll always have friends." Huh?
The show is still enjoyable.

When the main character(s) suddenly show an interest in something they have never mentioned before or is out of character/not plausible. Even more cringeworthy when that interest is the latest fad or tied into the latest popular movie.
shareCharacters who always eat out and share witty banter. Doesn't anyone cook any more?
shareWhile I end up liking the eye candy, that there are so many light and lovely young women who manage to become tough detectives who will go to toe to toe with any criminal seems pretty silly. Not that a fit young lady who has trained for hand to hand combat would be an ineffective fighter, but it rarely seems to be explained that way. Somehow Sophia Bush gets to play a tough Chicago detective while looking like a fetching grad student.
sharePeople are always shown in bed in broad daylight with the covers barely covering their chests. But people don't really sleep like that !
