Is the musical the worst genre?

check out Raging Bull.

Sports movies aren't great, but at least there's Raging Bull, The Hustler, Rocky, Miracle, Million Dollar Baby, The Fighter, The Damned United, Rush, and The Wrestler. I even like comedies like Talladega Nights and Happy Gilmore (only one of two decent Adam Sandler films)

I've always hated this movie.

If you think his opinion and preference is " fair, " then why do you feel a need to immediately follow that up with a cheap, demeaning and condescending shot?

I don't consider torture porn a main genre. It would fall more under horror. It would be like saying slasher is a main genre.

To me, musicals break that fourth wall. With the exception of Chicago, the music doesn't seem to progress the story. It diverts from the main narrative and draws attention away from the pacing.

I'm sure you have me on your 'ignore list' but I'll offer you this simple suggestion...Stop being so negative in every post, it's very off-putting and quite frankly, you just come off as mean and nobody likes that
