sharei used to have a friend who dug that album a lot, always told me to listen to it, but for whatever reason i've never heard a second of it until now.
i kinda liked the sound of that track, though it was perhaps a bit novelty-song-ish. i'd like to hear more though...i'll try to give the album a full listen tonight.
Yeah morphine’s good, kinda lounge-lizardy and chaotic. I’ve been revisiting bands from my younger years and they easily made the cut.

you might know dean wareham's previous band galaxy 500 - they were an alterna-rock it band for a few moments in the 80s, & got a bit more buzz & attention. i actually like the records he made with luna quite a bit more, especially bewitched & penthouse.
