Well, they say blue bloods were born with silver spoons in their mouths, Glen, so I'm my usual jovial self. I read mother nature has been more nature than motherly towards you lately. Sad state of affairs. I know, here's a joke sure to help lighten the mood since cheating is in the news right now:
The Simpsons:
Burns: Tell me, Simpson. If an opportunity arose for taking a small shortcut, you wouldn’t be adverse to taking it, would you?
Homer: Uhh, not as such.
Burns: Neither would I. I’ve always felt that there’s far too much hysteria these days about so-called cheating.
Homer: Yes, a lot of — hysteria. [worried look]
Burns: Mm-hmm. If you can take advantage of a situation in some way, it’s your duty as an American to do it. Why should the race always be to the swift or the jumble to the quick-witted? Should they be allowed to win merely because of the gifts God gave them? Well, I say cheating is the gift man gives himself!
Homer: Mr. Burns, I insist that we cheat.

Thanks for the laugh, twinA. Yes, Mother Nature is bullying (or slapping) us one more time with winter weather. I'm not worried about it, and not really affected by it because I won't have to go anywhere. "They" are saying that a lot of the snow will disappear by Monday, which is fine with me. It's just an annoyance, or an inconvenience. But it gives us something to talk about! For me, the high winds are the major factor. I had planned to visit my grandchildren in ND this weekend, but I think I'm going to postpone that trip (it's normally just under a 4-hour drive for me). I'll just hunker down, watch movies, and peer out the windows at the blowing snow. It IS pretty!
