Actors who seem to always play the bad guy

Or they play a jerk character. I'm not saying that's all they do, but that whenever you see them on screen, they play the bad guy, or some creepy or annoying character.

My first nomination is Danny Webb. I saw him in the premiere episode of Lewis, and he was also in Endeavour and Midsomer Murders. Just seems he gets cast as the character you don't like. I've yet to see him play a good character. I'm not saying he hasn't played one, but I have yet to see it.

Not necessarily a bad guy, but Johnny Depp usually plays a weirdo, and so did Nic Cage in a different way.

Yes.

Robert LaSardo
G.W. Bailey

James Spader is pretty great in the bully, pimp and pervert roles:

Secretary
Less than Zero
Sex, Lies and Videotape
Pretty in Pink

Sven Ole Thorsen, a body builder/actor from the 80s always seemed to play a henchman or a bodyguard for a gangster

Schwarzenegger must have punched him out or bumped him off in 4 or 5 different movies

Boris Karloff

Old school but yes. In real life a gentleman and great with kids.

Did not know that
The man could act because you'd think he was a maniac lol

Dabney Coleman. While usually not a criminal, he's usually a weasel that no one likes.

So I've disagreed over Buscemi, Depp and Bale. Most top-line actors will take a role as a villain just to show they have chops and range.

Anthony Hopkins can go either way. Seems like his most memorable roles were bad guys, like Silence and Mutiny on the Bounty.
