Do you round your height up or down?
For example I am 5'11" and I round my height up to 6ft
shareI'm 5'0" or exactly 60 inches, so I don't have to round my height up or down.
shareI just tell people I'm 5'11 and a half", because, guess what? I'm 5'11 and a half".
shareI am a bit over 6'2" - I always round down
shareNo, of course not ... accuracy in measuring height is probably to the nearest inch or to 1/2 of an inch, so that is where you would estimate the measurement - no need to round.
That is, if you measure from 5' 10 3/4 to 5' 11 1/4 inches and you would say you are 5' 11". to the nearest 1/8" with an accuracy of 1/2 inch.
If rounding to the inch, for say a driving license, from 5' 10 1/2" to 5' 11 1/2" would be 5' 11" .. making the choice as if the actual measurement being above or below the intervals.
I used to say 6'4, but nobody believed me, so now I say 6'2".
My drivers license says 193cm, so technically I'm 6 Feet, 3.9843 Inches
Neither.
