He had a massive stroke the other day.

I just heard this news on my local radio station.

TMZ's report:

Rest in Peace, Mr. Perry. 🌹

reply

That's terrible. I was fearing the worst, since there wasn't any news after they said he was put in an induced coma.

Rest in peace, man. 90210 was one of my favourite shows growing up.

reply

Never saw it. I just remember him from Jeremiah, which I really liked.

reply

Terrible to hear
All the girls crushed on him back in the day
Too young...RIP to a handsome dude

Your an idiot. He died from a Thrombotic stroke which occurs when a blood clot (thrombus) forms in one of the arteries that supply blood to your brain. A clot may be caused by fatty deposits (plaque) that build up in arteries and cause reduced blood flow (atherosclerosis) or other artery conditions.

Atherosclerosis is a major cause of intracranial artery stenosis. It can begin in early adulthood, but symptoms may not appear for several decades. Some people have rapidly progressing atherosclerosis during their thirties, others during their fifties or sixties. Atherosclerosis begins with damage to the inner wall of the artery caused by high blood pressure, diabetes, smoking, and elevated β€œbad” cholesterol. Other risk factors include obesity, heart disease, family history, and advanced age.

not all blacks, certain african americans with a specific genetic condition

reply

I see, thanks

reply

People can die from natural causes even as babies. No matter your age you aren't guaranteed to live to the next day.

reply

This aligns with the mindset/philosophy of Alex Honnold in Free Solo.

reply

Is that good? XD

reply

It's dynamite ! I highly recommend it if you like documentaries.

reply

I meant if it's a good thing to have a similar mindset as that guy you mentioned. I might check it out though.

reply

My wife is depressed over this.

reply

My wife and quite a few girls I grew up with are really busted up about this
Really unfair

reply

It's like an old love has died.

reply

My ex-GF Annie cried...she told me all the girls did
Sad stuff
Perry and Priestly were sort of the girl's version of Ginger and Marianne...all the girls had their favorite

reply

They all are crying and "really busted up", literally? Your ex-GF, friends, family did not know him. Luke's own family seem to be handling their unfortunate loss better.

reply

People from our past are part of who we are too. Even tv stars.

reply

I relate, and feel mostly connected to Tv stars from the past. My reply to Shotgun was about something different

reply

Doubt that

reply

That's my point, Shotgun: His family knew (loved) him, and he knew them--so they would naturally be feeling busted up and crying. To your female acquaintances, he was a symbol who felt like family, but he wasn't. (so are they feeling sad for him or themselves?)

When I observe tragedy, incurable pain and intimately deaths with everyday people, I feel as much sadness and sympathy for them as I do for famous ones who happen to shine on a Tv set. Not to say that I do not sympathize with Perry untimely death.

Leaving Luke Perry aside for the moment, with the actors you feel connected with and admire, you may not even like upon meeting them for a length of time, and the reciprocal. I find that to be interesting, and kind of sobering.
