Anyone buy a newspaper anymore ??
I canceled my newspaper subscription about two years ago and don't miss it at all. I bought the newspaper today and it was pretty thin and everything in it seemed dated.

I live in a cliche small town with a quaint little local paper that's mostly local news. I pick those up every Sunday. Only way to know what's going on around the county.
shareI subscribe to three newspapers, my hometown paper and two national papers. I'm a news junkie. Someone earlier mentioned that the newspapers get to do some interesting local stories that wouldn't normally be reported. Newspapers are the most important check on power; necessary for a healthy democracy.

shareI only buy the local papers now. If there's a special supplement in the nationals such as for the World Cup I usually pick one up for that reason.
