Lets mention a few things here that we love about our fellow members...no talk of Mods, self deleting chatter or fight picking...
I think we have had a belly full of the rough talk for now...

Dazed...what can a fella say...she is amazingly witty and her jabs are sharp

I love Stratego because she gives me a terrible time constantly...i'm going to go ahead and assume she is just smitten with me!
I really quite like her too;)

GlenEllyn...i worry about her and her no A/C situation but hopefully she has retreated to Mr and Mrs Neighbors house by now as they are at their lakehouse...
Glen is our sweetest and kindest lady!
I simply adore her

dewey...this dude is the champ
All excellence all of the time
None better

db loves to give you the smart, hard responses...i enjoy his zingers and i have had a bunch of laughs with him
I also admire his taste in movies

That is BY NO MEANS all...but im running out of room

Since his arrival here, I've developed an admiration & respect for MIchiganJFrogg. I've stated this via pms and will now do it publicly. It's obvious he's mature, wise, intelligent and articulate. To me, he's been a spark of hope that we can attract, good, new members.

One of my favorite summertime lounging t-shirts features the Budweiser frogs. It always draws a smile when I wear it in public.

I try not to curse simply because i'd hate to offend her
She is quite a lady

Croft...He really puzzles me most of the time but i admire the effort and longevity...Croft is a funny dude and i like him

MovieMan!
Travelled to 29 countries, taken a zero-gravity space trip and who can even remember what else ( i think he even sky-dived!)
He is A-Ok in my book

Dewey – So glad he’s back with us. I missed the spark he gives this place. A real hoot and always has something fun or funny to say, hence I refer to him as Captain Chatty. I enjoy our laugh fests immensely.

Stratego – Two words: her basement. I love the running gag of her whip, stilettos, and St Elmo’s Fire. Okay, maybe it isn’t a gag. And someday I have to watch that movie.

Hownos – Ah, yes. The Dean. All-around good guy and a gas to banter with. We’ve had some great laughs. My favorite exchange – he told me he’s bald, and I asked him, “Where?”

Catbookss – Nice gal who’s had more than her share of godawful bad luck, but still comes here with a smile in her words. Let's all hope her luck will change for the better starting NOW.

ShogunofYonkers – Comes up with some really great post topics. Great guy but he worries about me too much!

Dazed – She wins the gold medal for “fastest thread to 1000 replies” with her “Who said that?” post. Always makes things fun.

The heat is not as bad here. We had only a couple of miserable days before we got a break, and tomorrow we start another heat wave. Saturday was the worst day in a long time. Heck, my freezer door froze shut due to all the humidity. I was afraid I'd pull the fridge over on top of me if I pulled too hard.

Pretty weird weather this year...i was shoveling snow like a madman in April and now the yard feels like a wildfire

Holy moly! That is some fierce lightning out there. Just unplugged a few things and closed most of the windows. It's not windy so maybe I can leave a few open. We shall see.

However... I'm not keen on these threads because invariably people get left out which leads to hurt feelings.
