I have no problem with considered opinion Dazed, but I'm finding that people just recycle what they are told these days and can't back up their assertions when tested.
I'm not prepared to tinker with a flake's flakiness when they have no agency of their own.
Wastes everyone's time.
Especially mine.

Indeed. Or understanding that an article is actually an opinion piece and not the gospel truth.
People tend to feed themselves on media that they associate with and then step out into the world assured that their personal biases are supported by a large number of morally correct people, like them.
From Trumptards to ReeRees folk just wade into the shore and expect they can stop the tide.
It's boring and gormless and makes the person making the point a real non-entity when it comes to claiming to have a considered opinion.
I'd rather converse with a simulated person bot than look into another person's soul and find it so vacant.

That's exactly it Dazed!
People are told regurgitated nonsense by a bunch of lazy 'journalists' who all seem to retell each others' stories, inaccuracies and all, and by the time the real story has come out it's too late. Those who wished to find some semblance of truth which resonated with their personal outlooks have already drank from the poisoned well and don't come back for the retraction - regardless of however small and hidden it is.
Thousands of children have died from easily preventable diseases due to wishing to believe that vaccinations are some sort of conspiracy against them or something.
It's one thing for these Carrie Bradshaw wannabes to moan about whatever takes their fancy that day but another altogether when they are purposefully spreading misinformation so as to make the most of a hot topic and skewing people's ability to think or reason for themselves as a consequence of their silliness.
It's the in-thing to hate on Trump but the don't understand that they are the ones who elected him by making the public see that they were against him.
As a result lots of people now are itching for a fight but cannot seem to bring one when the tiniest of errors in their programmed conditioning is pointed out to them.
What I wouldn't give for a good tussle with someone who actually cared about something.

The Russia thing does seem to be going forward boldly. I don't think anyone trusts the press of the government these days and so the shadow folk who work to protect the nation are who it comes down to trusting in and they aren't really accountable to anyone Dazed. It's a bit like going on blind faith to assume this isn't just a ploy to further divide people and add more fear into the mix.
I don't think World War 3 will have nukes being used but I'm not sure it won't be without a massive amounts of casualties and despair for families who just want to get on about their business.
Hope springs eternal though, let's hope it's just a nothing that will pass soon enough.

Corned Beef and Cabbage!
I believe it was the cabbage. I had one wild ride last night, and it had nothing to do with Dewy sneaking into my garden shed!
It wasn't just a matter of a little gas.... It was the SHITS!
What can I say? We are all getting older and there are just a certain combination of foods that a person can no longer tolerate.
HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!!!!!!
I think the problem is that most don't eat cabbage on a regular basis, so when St Paddys day rolls around and people enjoy their annual Corned Beef and Cabbage, it causes stomach upset. This might sound crazy, but I actually juice cabbage for health purposes. Taste pretty good when blended with apple. Key is to start small and slowly build up the amount. It's been used to be used for ulcers and other GI problems throughout history.
