Everyday sounds you love?
A flagpole clanging in the wind.
shareThe sound of children on a playground on a tranquil, beautiful spring day.
shareThe approach of the ice cream truck.
shareYes! Sad that we don't hear that as often today as we used to.
shareI still do, quite often since I have a grade school nearby and frequently drive by another one.
shareI live on a street that's in line with the high school (2 block north) and the junior high (3 blocks south) so I get to see kids walking between the two for afterschool activities. It's nice to see. The sad part is so many of them are carrying their smartphone, wearing their earplugs.
shareThe sound the elevator makes -- not unlike the sound of a microwave after it's done heating your meal -- when it arrives at your floor.
shareYes, a sign of the times that can generate some dismay.
shareMy dogs playing in the yard.
Opening a beer.
Tapping on the keyboard when I log into MC.
The alarm going off. Means I'm still alive.
Getting yelled at by GF. Means I'm still loved.

Is that an everyday sound where you live?
shareThe plop of the morning paper on the front porch which just has a dependable familiarity about it.
