I absolutely love that you named the dogs!

I just thought of Mr. Haney. He always made me laugh.

reply

Mr. Haney from Green Acres? Oh Yes! What a head for business! The scammers of today could learn a thing or two from that good ole boy!

reply

As long as I'm naming animals, let us not forget Arnold Ziffle! That one made me laugh!

reply

Arnold was great!
Don't forget Mr. Ed and Fred the bird from Baretta.

reply

Will Geer as grandpa Walton but he's just one of many.

reply

Oh, I loved Grandpa Walton. You're right. He's just one of many of them. I understand that plenty of people didn't like that show, but I loved it. It was must see TV on Thursday nights.

reply

And Doc and Chester on Gunsmoke.

reply

Ah yes. Milbourne Stone and Dennis Weaver. Both fine actors. Loved Dennis Weaver in Duel. Talk about edge of your seat! Spielberg should have kept making those type of films.....
but I digress.😁

reply

I did too; great movie! I also liked him in McCloud. During one episode, I saw him driving a Chrysler/ Plymouth Volare sport coupe identical to mine. It made my day ! 😁

reply

Identical to your car? That's pretty cool!
I always hated how McCloud's superior treated him. McCloud maybe didn't do things in a by the book way, but he always got his man! LOL! You'd think he would be highly respected.
The same goes for Columbo. Of course, he always deliberately appeared slightly dimwitted to throw people off...especially the killer, but Columbo was always the smartest guy in the room.

reply

There could have been some professional jealousy in play with McCloud's superior.

reply

No doubt that there was a certain rivalry on the part of what's his name. I keep forgetting to look up his name. All that I keep remembering about that guy is that he always seemed angry and he yelled at McCloud. The guy should have just WORKED with McCloud.

reply

Played by J D Cannon.

reply

Thank you. I checked it out this morning, but the name always escapes me.

And Exhibit B:

The best part of this scene is his small smile at the end when he realized that Wilson had finally gotten him.

And my absolute favorite: Exhibit C:

I have too many. I'm just gonna put the ones I can remember here:

Leslie Knope and Ron Swanson – Parks & Recreation

Lex Luthor – Smallville

Prof. Maximilian Arturo – Sliders (and pretty much John Rhys-Davies in any TV series, especially Gargoyles)

Stiles and Lydia – Teen Wolf

Ang and Prince Zuko – Avatar: The Last Airbender

Maxine Gray - Judging Amy

Titus Andromedon - Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt

Sorry, I just paired up the ones from the same shows.

reply

You do have too many. ;)

I couldn't pick one from Parks and Rec.
I like all of them.
If I did it would be April and Li'l Sebastian.

reply

I do - I really do.
Ha, lil Sebastian.

reply

Gregory House MD

Very well said.

I would still pick Lady Aberlin.
I always thought that she just got me.
