Oh, I loved Grandpa Walton. You're right. He's just one of many of them. I understand that plenty of people didn't like that show, but I loved it. It was must see TV on Thursday nights.
Ah yes. Milbourne Stone and Dennis Weaver. Both fine actors. Loved Dennis Weaver in Duel. Talk about edge of your seat! Spielberg should have kept making those type of films.....
but I digress.😁
I did too; great movie! I also liked him in McCloud. During one episode, I saw him driving a Chrysler/ Plymouth Volare sport coupe identical to mine. It made my day ! 😁
Identical to your car? That's pretty cool!
I always hated how McCloud's superior treated him. McCloud maybe didn't do things in a by the book way, but he always got his man! LOL! You'd think he would be highly respected.
The same goes for Columbo. Of course, he always deliberately appeared slightly dimwitted to throw people off...especially the killer, but Columbo was always the smartest guy in the room.
No doubt that there was a certain rivalry on the part of what's his name. I keep forgetting to look up his name. All that I keep remembering about that guy is that he always seemed angry and he yelled at McCloud. The guy should have just WORKED with McCloud.
