Does Anyone Else Think That Just Posting A Link Is Not A Post At All, But It Is Plagiarism?

If you have a message to share, please write it. If you are so cognitively bankrupt that all you can do is to cut and paste someone else's intellectual property, don't waste my time.

I'm referring to posts that are NOTHING but a pasted link. I'm okay with posts that contain a written statement and linked documentation. I think the lonely-link "posts" epitomize sloth. How about you?

If anything, it's indicative of internet fostered laziness but not actual plagiarism.

I agree db. The folks doing this aren't trying to pass the stuff off as their own work. They're just incapable of creating anything interesting on their own. My contempt for sub-mediocrity caused me to go a bit too far.

I wouldn't quite call it plagiarism, since they are at least posting the source of information. I would call it lazy, bordering on spam.
