Sounds like it won't. Such a tiny percentage of their visits are by members using the boards.

I don't believe them for a second that the boards aren't a huge part of their traffic.

I'd go there to check the cast of a movie or find out a general fact from time to time but I did that because it was my go to place due to messageboard initially.

Now, I'll simply go to wiki for the same information. I've no need to go to imdb over wiki.

The boards are a huge part of their visits, facebook is not an alternative to them and vile behavior and foul language hadn´t anything to do with their decision.

But I´m done with them now. The little information I need on movies I can find on wiki. I visited IMDB daily, just because of the message boards.

Oh, I'm sure they will post their "alternative facts" on increased traffic now.

I hope they make fools of themselves by claiming traffic increased and someone produces facts and completely humiliates them.

Very few people are going to IMDb to find out who the third girl on the right in that movie was. And their streaming for their video content was absolute garbage.
