We should promote using our existing IMDB accounts to post reviews of movies and television shows, and in those reviews protest the deletion of the message boards.

And I DON'T work for IMDB, and I would be ashamed to admit it if I did. I'm quite certain their traffic has nosedived precipitously after doing away with what was by far their #1 attraction for the average user, and I am going to everything I can to hasten their ultimate demise, so a new IMDB will arise --with discussion boards--. One thing we can all do is use our accounts to post reviews, and in those reviews slime IMDB for dropping the message boards. If 250,000 of us do it they might get the message.
