This British "liberal" you've never heard of is the dumbest and weirdest guy in the world

This guy has been an object of hate and ridicule for many years, for me and also other people.

He's a gay left-wing guy who spends his entire time online posting about "Israel this, Israel that" even though Israel is the only gay-friendly country in the Middle East and all the Arabs would kill him for being gay...... for the last year he's just been posting these endless videos where he yammers on about "genocide".

He's short, has an annoying accent, and just spends his whole life in a "flat" (apartment) in London. That's it. Why would he want to go outside his house? - London is full of Muslims who hate gays.

But he still has to live in London cause he wants to feel like he's a political "influencer"... and he relies on donations to keep afloat just like so many lame commentators.

His existence sums up everything stupid about modern leftists

I was “strongly encouraged” to include my preferred pronouns in my email signature at work. I strongly declined.

If people can’t work out my gender from my name, they deserve to be confused.

Couldn't have said it better myself. That’s my position as well. I believe you should be able to figure out my pronouns based on my name or how I look. If you can't, then that's your problem.

The thing that really cracks me up about the silliness of it all is that every single staff member who has opted to include pronouns have included either she/her or he/him.. not a single they/them which to me just makes it a colossal and embarrassing exercise in virtue signaling.

I obviously don't know anything about your workplace, but that it could just be that there are no minorities to be represented. Or (and I hope not) that anyone who might otherwise wish to assign themselves a different gender is intimidated enough not to.

There are minorities. One of the supervisors is trans. Everyone calls her by her chosen name. We don’t need to look at her email signature to work it out.

I just find the preferred pronouns thing tiresome in the extreme. If someone gets it wrong, let them know. Move on. Announcing your gender in every communication to workmates and external clients is something I just don’t understand. “Hi I’m Joe Bloggs, I’m straight and I go by he/him”

To be fair you’d be hard pressed to find a holy book that doesn’t. I don’t think any gay person could base their support of an area or group on religious grounds, unless they are going for the one that hates gays the least.

Religion has some nice ideas here and there but regardless of the flavour it’s all a bit silly. Masses of people thinking that their deity is the real deal, all clinging on to it and following whatever nutty rules apply essentially because they fear death.
