Either this is sincere demonstration that the left is the functional equivalent of the right from 20 years ago, or we're seeing a new tactic play out where political candidates are being endorsed for the intentional purpose of smearing their reputation. I certainly don't see a Dick Cheney endorsement bringing in many blue votes but I could definitely see it repelling some.

KKK for Kamala has a nice ring to it for example. Maybe we'll see that as well in the coming months.

If mainstream republicans vote for Harris, then real progressives shouldn't. We don't need the democrats to become any more right wing than they already are. Since Trump, republicans have become more anti-war, more pro-free speech, more pro-bodily autonomy, and more socially liberal in all metrics, and less authoritarian, whereas democrats are doing the opposite. Trump represents a political realignment in progress.

We're voting for Harris because we want to continue the Republic and continue democracy and liberty while moving toward the future.

Trump tramples on American liberty and the Constitution. His Project 2025 is a dystopian nightmare which will destroy the U.S.. He wants to return to the past when most Americans had few rights.

The book "How Democracies Die" stated the way to save democracy when a wannabe dictator runs is for both traditional political parties to unite and publicly show support for the pro democracy candidate. This happened recently in several countries including twice in France.

Biden's son will end up in jail. Trump has shown resilience and despite the attacks by media and the liberals, he triumphed in 2016 and 2024 (as survivor in an assassination attempt), and will triumph again this November. Also, worth noting that Trump and his company do NOT represent a threat to lgbt or black / brown minorities, or feminists. He's lax in matters related to lgbt, sjw and blm, as evidenced by his 2016-2020 tenure.
