Assuming this story is true, which Kennedy Jr himself says it's not, wouldn't this be a poor strategic decision for the Harris campaign to turn him down?

RFK Jr has been polling better than any third-party candidate has in decades. I think him endorsing Trump might be just enough to give Trump the win.
We'll see what happens, a lot can still go down between now and election night but this could be a major turning point.
It appears that Elon may also be joining Team Trump.
