You can't force bigots to like someone. The only thing to do is introduce a system (DEI, Affirm. Action) which can statistically demonstrate that discrimination is being addressed with proof (quotas).
Minorities do well when there are no barriers of discrimination. I suggest you read about the Reconstruction Era when Blacks were making tremendous progress. Bigots don't want minorities to do well which is why discrimination is introduced. That happened after Reconstruction with lynchings, Jim Crow laws, voter suppression, etc..
Modern racism actually began 500 years ago in Spain against Jews. Christians jealousof successful Jewish men, so they had the king introduce laws discriminating against non-Christians.
It's important to remember that the entire point of discrimination is to privilege one group while depriving another group.
Furthermore, racism in the U.S. has been used as a divide and conquer strategy by the rich since the 1600s. Black slaves and white indentured servants helped each other by fighting against the oppressive planters and escaping. New laws were created to privilege poor whites over blacks to create a wedge which still exist.
If you want to fully understand racism, then you need to read books.
