Amercians, do you think NATO will become important to you in the future?

The USA, has always been the key member of NATO since its founding, given the size of its miltary, supporting Europe. But with China, Iran, Russia, North Korea etc, if they formed a miltary pack, do you think the US would benefit enough from other NATO members supporting them globally, to keep them in check?

reply

NATO is nothing more than a paper tiger. The fact that America's been picking up the bill on paying for most of it instead of the countries that were supposed to be contributing all along says a lot about its worth as a fighting force.

reply

NATO members have been increasing their defence spending in recent years. However you are right, they are still not spending what they really could.

reply

It makes me wonder just how effective they truly would be in a third world war, if a real one actually broke out. I suspect they'd get their asses whooped and come crying to America to help.

reply

Not if Dementia Donnie has anything to do with it. That POS would just as soon see the Russian flag flying over the USA. Putin/Vance 2024!!! MAKE RUSSIA GREAT AGAIN!!!!!!!

reply

NATO is important now and will be in the future.

reply

An anchronistic waste of money, and the means of enabling much perfidy by the Global American Empire.

reply

I believe NATO is limited to the European theater. I don't think that NATO would operate outside of Europe.
