Secret Service Faces Questions After Trump Assassination Attempt

The shooter was a “few hundred meters from the venue.” What the hell? 2 football fields away?😱
He was pointed out to police prior to the shooting. He was seen with his rifle crawling on the roof. I thought all high places within shooting distance were covered!

We now have a Presidential Candidate almost assassinated, an innocent person murdered and two others critically wounded all due to the lackluster protection from the Secret Service. They should all be replaced. I’m shocked an evildoer in totally open view was able to fire over 7 rounds and managed to strike people before he was taken out! Again why weren’t those buildings covered? The Secret Service should have been on those roofs…not a damn murderer!

Both the SS and cops were ordered by the DS/CIA to allow the hit.

The enforcement snipers saw him before he shot at Trump.

They could have shot him before any bullets were fired by the gunman.

Listen to the interviewer explaining that the cops were also warned about the guy on the roof and they did nothing about it.

reply

Well that clears that up, I'm so glad you're here to give us the inside scoop.

As long as at least 50 percent of the new hires are women, I would support this decision.

reply

I agree. Did you notice how alert the female agents were with their weapons drawn? They were prepared to do justice in case there was another miscreant.

reply

They looked fierce. I wouldn't mess with them.

reply

Stunning and brave as always - all women are above average - but utterly incapable of making me a sandwich.

reply

You already are a sandwich, a shit sandwich! Heheheheh

I looked at the video more closely. The less tall one needs to go. She looked confused, had difficulty holstering her weapon and let’s face it, she’s not of the stature to be a protector of a 6’ 4” large male. She would not have the ability to protect him if it was one on one. I’m sure there are other positions for which she would be suited.

I don’t believe fire fighters should be women. Most do not have the upper body strength to hoist a large person over their shoulders. There’s always an exception. Actually it would be difficult to hoist someone who may not be able to assist in his/her rescue. Dead weight is dead weight. My mom was a little over 5’ and weighed 138lbs. After her stroke she only needed one caregiver because she was able to assist her caregiver. After two months she worsened and required 2 caregivers due to her being dead weight. She succumbed a short time later.

I think about, horrors if it occurred, being trapped in a fire. I’m not able to assist for one reason or another and just dead weight. A small statured woman wouldn’t be able to carry me. I’m sure I wouldn’t want to be grabbed by the ankles and pulled down a flight of stairs…going bumpity. bumpity, bump.

reply

They hire firefighters by ability. You have to be able to do all the things whether you are a man or a woman.

86 seconds was reported was the time it took for the SS to respond after someone contacted the police and the police contacted the SS.

I saw the video of a few of the crowd who was pointing out the guy on the roof. From what I saw of the video it was not clear that this guy was armed. Someone said the SS or the police made contact with him on the roof.

The building was actually the temporary base of the police. Maybe they did not want to shoot someone who could have just been a Trump fan angling to get a look at the rally. You cannot just go around shooting random Americans without some reason.

The mistake was in not having someone on the building or responsible for that building. I think that is fair to say.

Information is coming out slowly, but it may have been that they thought no one could get on top of the police operations base, which apparently this shooter was able to do, to climb up and get on top of the roof of the building - with his rifle.

It may also have been a case that there have been so many rallies without any incidents that the police/secret service got careless.

Trump was very lucky, but unfortunately one fan was killed and two other fans were critically wounded. It's not been reported that Trump made any contact with the members of the families of those hurt or killed.

> He was seen with his rifle crawling on the roof.

The SS cannot just take the word of a rabble, particularly the rabble at a Trump rally. Did you see some of the people they interviewed there. It was like they pulled these guys out of a bar in the early morning.

It has to be reported, and relayed to the snipers who then have to verify that the guy has a gun. Everything went wrong because they failed to cover the roof of that building, which was the local operations base for the police/SS. They probably thought no one would dare or be able to get on that roof.

reply

The two SS-snipers had eye view access to the shooter for at least three minutes.

That was plenty of time to neutralize the shooter or remove Trump from the stage.

There is footage by the spectators of the gunman on the roof which is confirmed by the interviewer or the "rabble" as you call it.

reply

Sure, they'd be better served listening to a neckbearded soyjack wearing a pink pussy hat. Those types are suffused with a sober intelligence.

reply

You have quite the imagination ... lunatics often do.

reply

Questions like 'where did you pick this lousy sniper?'?

reply

No more fat bitches either in the Secret Service and no more of this bullshit of having to ask permission to take out a subject potentially trying to take out a Presidential Candidate and soon to be 47th President of the U.S in Donald Trump

reply

They should have at least removed Trump from the stage before the shooter started firing.

reply

”… no more of this bullshit of having to ask permission to take out a subject potentially trying to take out a Presidential Candidate…”

If true, why am I not surprised? After all, it’s how the war in Afghanistan and elsewhere was/is fought. It’s why we lost so much blood over there. We could go back to Viet Nam and our useless involvement, fighting for the same damn hill over & over. “Take the hill…Fall back…Take the hill…Fall back…” I shudder to think where we would be if we had fought WWII in the same manner.

reply

I would *love* to know what's so secret about them, now that they failed to stop an assassination attempt on a public figure is now global knowledge.

reply

An assassination is not possible without the cooperation of the SS. That was well established in 1963.

reply

The more I look at the videos, the more I’m prompted to take back my prior praise of the “Secret” Service. They look more akin to the Keystone Cops!
