Tucker Carlson set to release controversial interview with Vladimir Putin: online!

Just over 3 hours away on X. I would rather listen to audio than watch. This web page is doing live coverage, there will be others.

It would be interesting to compare what our side is saying about the Ukraine war vs. what he told Carlson in the interview. It makes you wonder what's really going on here, and why one side is trying so hard not to let the other be heard. It also makes you wonder if Putin is telling the truth or not. He could easily be lying as much as our govt. is.

I think that is the point. Breaking the logjam of this useless war that never should have taken place so that a back and forth discussion can take place and facts and motivations from both sides can be examined publicly.

Putin put together a long narrative laying out some Russian history for analysis.

Before one can analyze, one has to hear what he said, and fact-check it.

Nothing the US said at the beginning of this war was fact-checked or criticially assessed, it was more war-jingoistic slogans and lies, and all our media was acting in-concert. If you said listen to Putin at that time on all the social media sites it would be deleted and swarmed by trolls calling you Putin, Boris, Vlad, and lots worse.

He's not really said anything he hasn't said before, or some Russian representative hasn't said before. "Blah blah Ukrainian history is actually really Russian artificial state made by Lenin" although we apparently really invaded because we're concerned about NATO expansionism, or nazism.
