Egypt intelligence official says Israel ignored repeated warnings of ‘something big’

https://www.timesofisrael.com/egypt-intelligence-official-says-israel-ignored-repeated-warnings-of-something-big/

Cairo official says Israel focused on West Bank instead of Gaza; Egypt’s spy chief said to warn PM of ‘terrible operation,’ Netanyahu’s office denies.

Is it me or do most major (as in biggest) terrorist attacks happen under right-wing governments? Bush in 9/11 and the one in Israel of this caliber. It almost seems conspiratorial that they ignored all the red flags/warnings and allowed it to happen for justification to go to war.

reply

Democrats were wanting war and wanted to blame the Republicans. War is good for business which is why Biden allow Putin to invade Ukraine and Biden gave Iran 6 billion so Hamas could attack Israel. As I see it, war and major terrorist attacks happen under left-wing governments.

reply

You're a crazy sob.

reply

About as crazy as the original posters crazy theory.

reply

"You're a crazy sob."

I'm American, I'm not familiar with this term.

I know Johnny Rotten sang "I'm a lazy sod."

reply

Son of a bitch?

reply

ahhh that makes sense... and not the S.O.B. that showed us Fraulein Maria's boobies...

reply

Biden provides the Taliban with weapons and funds Hamas, but somehow MAGA and Trump are the terrorists.

reply

Its Bizzaro World. Biden also cancelled sanctions on Iran and they got 6 billion to fund a new war with Israel. Thank you to the 81 million voters for voting in a weak geriatric dementia patient.

reply

Remember when they claimed that Trump was going to start wars, destroy the country and the world...

...every single claim and accusation they ever made against Trump and MAGA is what they have actually been guilty of.

reply

So what? Your orange master is facing 91 felony charges mostly for being a traitor. Supporting a traitor makes you a traitor. How will you handle it when Trump is convicted? You might want to keep the number of the Suicide Hotline handy because you're going to need it.

reply

Yeah, dems said that Trump would start WWIII. They were obviously wrong and just trolling.

reply

what an incoherent mess of nonsense

reply

How is it Biden was somehow otherwise able to stop Putin invading Ukraine?

And your second point is [citation needed]

reply

"[citation needed]"

You have 97% of left-wing sources that can provide you with whatever will fit your preferred narrative; however, if you want the truth, you will have to navigate the 3% that provides the truth even though you will still reject it.

Every time a leftist asks for citation or sources, they are been disingenuous and contemptuous in their request since they always deny them or reject them……you have proven that several times.

reply

These are just words, not actual examples of evidence. How is it Biden was somehow otherwise able to stop Putin invading Ukraine? Where is the evidence that Biden gave Iran money to fund Hamas?

reply

When it comes to the right, you don't need evidence, just hearsay. I can start my own hearsay as well. In close talks with Putin, Trump said he would've given Ukraine to Putin if he were still president to make Putin happy with no invasion. Trump claims he did it for peace and love before receiving another love letter for Un thanking him for that generous gift.

For that Iran money, the excuse is that money is fungible and can be used for another item as a means to get the funds, say it's for humanitarian reasons, and fund Hamas. Thing is the money is still sitting in a Qatar-y bank (supposedly).

reply

And yet, Trump kept the peace. Under Obama/Biden there is war, death, and destruction which you leftist imbeciles are always supporting.

Those funds were rerouted through shell banks that were used to fund terrorists; the white house has already admitted it.

reply

Actually read the article, it cites its sources.

"Let’s first dispel one claim made by Trump and Ramaswamy. The $6 billion in question is not U.S. taxpayer dollars. It is Iranian money that was being held in South Korean banks.

In a press conference on Sept. 12, Matthew Miller, a spokesman for the State Department, said the Trump administration “allowed these accounts to be set up so countries could purchase Iranian oil” and that South Korean banks held $6 billion worth of payments when the U.S. issued new sanctions in 2018 and 2019.

“Iran has always been able under the regime set up by the previous administration to access the funds in these accounts,” Miller said.

Indeed, in October 2019, the Trump administration announced “a new humanitarian mechanism” to allow for humanitarian trade of agriculture, food, medicine and medical devices with Iran.

“This mechanism, designed solely for the purpose of commercial exports of agricultural commodities, food, medicine, and medical devices to Iran, will provide unprecedented transparency into humanitarian trade to Iran and help ensure that humanitarian goods go to the Iranian people, and are not diverted by the Iranian regime to fund its nefarious purposes,” the 2019 announcement by the Treasury and State Department said."

reply

That is why it was diverted/rerouted through shell banks so that funds that would have been used for humanitarian purposes were used to support terrorism as I have already stated before you cited a left-wing source as usual.

reply

Sorry, but you simply didn't read the article. Where are you even getting your sources from?

These aren't taxpayers dollars.

"Money Not Yet Released
It is also wrong to say the transfer of the $6 billion funded the recent Hamas attack, because Iran hasn’t yet received any of the money.

The U.S. Treasury’s undersecretary for terrorism and financial intelligence, Brian Nelson, posted a statement on social media on Oct. 7 saying, “All of the money held in restricted accounts in Doha as part of the arrangement to secure the release of 5 Americans in September remains in Doha. Not a penny has been spent.”

Glenn E. Robinson, a resident fellow at the Center on Terrorism, Extremism, and Counterterrorism at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies in Monterey, told us via email that “the agreement of just a few weeks ago was much too recent to have had any impact on the events of the past 72 hours.” In addition, he said, “The Hamas operation was low tech, low cost. I doubt the cost of the material used in the operation exceeded perhaps $100,000 or so.”"

reply

They don’t have to; it is “allocated” since the funds are already guaranteed.

reply

And yet since Iran hasn't actually received any money, the claims that it's already happened are false. And this all seems to stem from the Trump era anyway.

reply

They have received them via the shell banks through the allocation.

It was the Biden Administration that unfroze and released those funds, not Trump, lol.

reply

>They have received them via the shell banks through the allocation.

When? Can I get some sources please?

reply

and what would have Trump done differently that would have stopped Putin. come on sackless answer questions dont just run

reply

When Democrats go to war it's for 'humanitarian intervention' reasons. And that's different to what I am talking about.

reply

Hamas didn't do anything because "Democrats wanted" something.

reply

They probably wanted their own Pearl Harbour/Gulf of Tonkin/9-11 and let it happen.

Never forget, someone out there wants us to hate Iran and go to war with them.

reply

Of course you mean Republicans.

reply

Zionists that start world wars.

If you look at Faux Newz, they really want a war with Iran this instant. Look at Lindsey Graham and others they bring on. You don't even need John Bolton (lover for Iran war) to even be there now to advocate for it.

Well, one Israeli who will benefit is Netanyahu, who will see political opposition unite with him during war. So...

reply

soo democrats helped save the world and fight the evils in WW1 and especially WW2???? when you going to post in politics thanking dems for fighting the nazis

also thanks for leaving all the wars out that were under republicans. you really think we here are all as stupid as you?

reply

Dems let the wars happen is the point. I realize English isn't your first language so you might not understand what I am saying.

reply

dems let ww1 and ww2 happen?!?!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAH fuck you are dumb

i realize you are likely retarded. your mommy needs to take your computer away

reply

How did the Democrats "let" WW2 and WW1 happen?

reply

And don’t forget that the later wars were orchestrated/pushed by the DS regardless of Administration/Party...…in case some juvenile imbecile comes along to weigh in with their usual BS of: “what about wars under the (R)s.”

reply

Are you unironically arguing that WW1 and WW2 was caused by the Democrats?

And Korea?

reply

I'm talking about TERRORISM at home but lets just name other wars around the world. Way to skip the headline.

reply

This attack will give Israel a reason to deal much more aggressively with Hamas.

That said, I need to see more evidence before I take these theories seriously.

reply

"I need to see more evidence before I take these theories seriously."

That will never happen as long as your mouth is stuck to the anus of the MSM.

reply

I wish you types would give as much benefit of the doubt to people who get accused of rape 25 years after it allegedly happened.

reply

They don't want to just eliminate Hamas, I think the far-right government wants to eliminate most remnants of Palestine for good. Since Hamas hides under mosques and among civilians, every target is basically a legitimate target for them. There are no "non-civilian targets" in Gaza, Hamas HAS to hide among civilians.

reply

Either they thought Hamas was too stupid to carry it out or someone in the Israeli government is a mole. Then again, both could also be true.

reply

You have mentioned the “Deep State” more than once in your posts/replies; however, you obviously don’t believe the DS is real based on your ass-backward theories; otherwise you would not underestimate the power and control they have regardless of the Administration/Regime.

reply

If that's the case you should stop blaming everything on the Dems then. It's DS, yo. Oh wait, only you think the DS is Dems.

reply

Both are on the same side, but thanks for sarcastically confirming the obvious.

reply

Bush was just lazy and had zero interest in being president. He was constantly on vacation. And he was as dumb as a wall. No surprise that he ignored any threats.

Netanyahu has been provoking Palestinians in order to appeal to far-right extremists. Also from your link:

"Israel has also been preoccupied and torn apart by Netanyahu’s judicial overhaul plan. Netanyahu had received repeated warnings by his defense chiefs, as well as several former leaders of the country’s intelligence agencies, that the divisive plan was chipping away at the cohesion of the country’s security services.

Martin Indyk, who served as a special envoy for Israeli-Palestinian negotiations during the Obama administration, said internal divisions over the legal changes was an aggravating factor that contributed to the Israelis being caught off guard.

“That roiled the IDF in a way that was, I think, we discovered was a huge distraction,” he said."

Similar nonsense happening in the U.S.. Republicans who harm and distract weaken national security by refusing to appoint military leaders, defunds allies, no present Congressional leadership and repeated attacks against Intelligence agencies and death threats against our military leaders.

reply

Bush was and is a RINO…eg…One of YOU. A member of the Uniparty Establishment.

reply

Anti-American Republicans are your party, cultist!

Have you attacked and beaten any cops lately while trying to overthrow fair and free elections?

reply

I dunno about the dumb part, he's ways smarter than Trump for sure. If you saw his interviews and when they do those presidents get together (minus Trump), he's pretty articulate and thoughtful. Hell, he's even buddies with Bill Clinton along with Obama to some degree.

That excerpt you posted almost makes me think some 'woke' Mossad officer saw the warnings and then hid/ignored it intentionally as to punish Netanyahu's administration due to policy infighting within the government. It'll be interesting what the investigation concludes with once this is all over.

https://www.defense.gov/News/News-Stories/Article/Article/3515996/senate-confirmation-still-in-limbo-for-301-military-leaders/

Even though those senior leaders haven't been confirmed yet, the acting ones are still competent, I think. The ones that are suppose to take their roles are just senate approved (after they ask those boring questions).

reply

You may be correct.

Netanyahu appointed a far-right extremist as national security minister named Itamar Ben Gvir. He is a Fascist and racist and was condemned for his racist remarks not too long ago.

"Mr Ben Gvir leads the ultranationalist Otzma Yehudit or "Jewish Power" party which espouses racist, anti-Arab policies. He has previous convictions for inciting racism and supporting terrorism.

In December he was made a top minister by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who gave him a seat in his security cabinet and put him in charge of the domestic police, as well as Israel's militarised border police force that operates in occupied East Jerusalem and the West Bank."

My conspiracy theory is this is the Final Solution that Netanyahu had been waiting for. A way to get rid of Palestine for good.

reply

No, but I bookmarked them.

I agree and believe Netanyahu had instigated a lot of it. May be for destruction or win political points with his far-right extremist supporters. There may also have been a government delay in providing help. Why? That's a rhetorical question.

Meanwhile, plenty of talk about Iranian involvement, but I just found a news article stating there's no proof so U.S. Intelligence is looking for it. I repeat - NO PROOF! No discussion about hundreds of millions from Qatar to Palestinians because they're an ally. And likely other allied countries.

Major gaslight is to pretend that Israel ever wanted a two-state solution since they fear an independent and strong Palestinian state. And hypocrisy to say Israel can defend its border, but denounce when Palestinians do the same. Outcry over killing Israeli civilians, but silence when Palestinians are killed.

reply

In this particular instance, Palestinians literally blew a hole in the wall and went on to deliberately massacre civilians. That's not resistance. They didn't target police or military. They targeted civilians.

There are certainly hard-right factions in Israel that have no interest in any two-state solution, but there's zero evidence that Hamas has ever been interested in it either.

reply

"...hospitals overwhelmed with wounded people were running out of supplies. Israel has stopped entry of food, fuel and medicines into Gaza, and the sole remaining access from Egypt shut down Tuesday after airstrikes hit near the border crossing."

Netanyahu's excuse for genocide and ethnic cleansing of Palestinian civilians in order to steal more land.

Obviously, Hamas did target military since there are videos of them next to tanks and Israeli soldiers were killed and taken hostage, too.

Civilians on BOTH SIDES are being killed.

reply

I know all of this. I'm not defending that, but Hamas and associated organisations also have zero interest in any two-state solution. It is literally in their creed to destroy all Jews.

>Obviously, Hamas did target military since there are videos of them next to tanks and Israeli soldiers were killed and taken hostage, too.

They mostly rampaged against civilians.

reply

Not destroy Jews. Palestinians want their stolen land back.

Palestine had Muslims, Christians and Jews living together for centuries. That changed in 1948 when 700,000 Palestinians were ethnic cleansed from Palestine.

New 2023 ethnic cleansing law:
"Israel has passed a law allowing the government to revoke (Israeli) citizenship or residency from those who have committed “acts of terror”, and deport them to the occupied West Bank and Gaza Strip, in legislation that will effectively apply to Palestinians only."
https://www.middleeasteye.net/news/israel-approves-law-deport-palestine-citizens-residents

Israel mostly rampages against Palestinian civilians, too.

What would've made the most sense in the 1940s was to keep Palestine with its diverse religious population and create an Israel some place else like Australia. Then, Jews could choose to live in either Palestine or Israel.

Let's remember this started with Europeans' hatred and genocide against Jews!

reply

>Not destroy Jews. Palestinians want their stolen land back.

Hamas do not want just this. They want to overrun the entire country of Israel. They support only a one-state solution. You talk about "Palestine" if Hamas as an organisation and their goals can be ignored.

>What would've made the most sense in the 1940s was to keep Palestine with its diverse religious population and create an Israel some place else like Australia. Then, Jews could choose to live in either Palestine or Israel.

What happened is what happened. We are where we are now.

reply

Both sides want 100% of the land.

Neither side wants a two-state solution.

"We are where we are now."
Perpetual oppression doesn't work forever. Neither does perpetual violence and warfare. Destroy Hamas today and another similar group appears tomorrow since the situation hasn't changed.

3 solutions:

1. Two-state solution with a permanent international peace-keeping military presence to keep each side from killing each other, but with periodic random violent flair-ups.
2. 100% ethnic cleanse all Palestinians.
3. Israel recreated somewhere else.

Meanwhile:
Ultra-Orthodox Jews have a much higher birthrate than secular Jews which means more political power. That has been driving the far-right policies including worsening conditions for Palestinians. It's also creating friction within Israel since secular and other Jews don't want a theocracy. Just a matter of time before this situation comes to a head, also.
