I agree it's a justified war as our current commitment stands now (just support, no US troops in harms way). If it escalated I'd have to reassess.
The Iraq War era Republicans sickened me back then for a multiple reasons. Cheney & Bush should be in jail. I recall before the '16 election hearing TFG & his supporters express disapproval of Bush's wars. So maybe not all on the right supported them. Or they did at the time and then tfg gave them courage to speak against them and at the same time court disenfranchised Democrats.

They had a chance to negotiate and their corrupt leadership decided to sacrifice the people to make money. The regions they would have lost did not want to be part of the country anyway. Maybe Zelensky should have put the deal to a vote because every single person who lived and worked there would have chosen to give up the regions and live rather than get destroyed. They are forcing people to fight now.

He didnt take it and instead stayed in Kiev, Even as the russians approached were literally at the door 31 kilometres away. the consequences would have been either execution or excruciating Russian treatment. acting like this was heroic, brave and putting himself in harms wy to defend his country and that hes taking the easy way out is silly
