Yes they are, that is a fact, and they will force everyone even if they have to cutoff natural gas to do it.
This is one of several from my list in Biden’s 21st century fascism of “control”.

who cares , theres barely any cost difference in electrically heating your food , and induction hobs are a fuckload easier to clean than gas burners.

My original comment was tongue in cheek, but in truth, I don't have a dog in this fight. Don't have any gas appliances, nor grill enough to care whether or not charcoal went bye bye as well(though it seems unlikely).

Who cares??? I fucking care. A lot of other people care. Gas is much better for cooking and heating. It's more efficient and existing gas appliances are a whole lot less expensive than buying that new induction bullshit. There is ZERO benefit to such a ban on appliances. We have so many more important issues to concern ourselves with than this absurdity.

Not only that, it's about the government and twats like you dictating people's lives. It's busybody assholes like you who think, "it doesn't affect me so I don't care" that have allowed this country to swirl down the drain.

Any such legislation is for NEW constructions, and, WOULD NOT apply to the gas stoves that people ALREADY have.
