In the 1990s when crime dropped massively Republicans said it was due to stricter policing. And then people smarter than Republicans figured out it was because of abortions. Which Republicans want to ban. Despite the majority of people in the US supporting the woman's right to choose. Republicans hate democracy.
Gas prices are already down. Oil companies are profiting massively and globally, they will have 10 trillion dollars in profits in the next 10 years alone. Time to nationalize oil companies.

Voters in Missouri voted for expanding Medicare, Republicans ignored them.
Voters in Louisiana voted for marijuana decriminalization, Republicans went to the courts to stop it (and in Missouri as well I think, can't remember).
And just yesterday, voters in Kansas overwhelmingly voted not to touch the right to choose. Despite the ambiguously worded question, despite it being Kansas... Even deep red counties voted to keep the right for the woman to choose.
So, yeah, when policies are actually on the ballot, Republicans lose.
