It’s suspicious that they changed the law in Georgia after the killing but the

three man were still found guilty. It’s suspicious because it’s always the law at the time of the event. Why did they change the law if they were found guilty anyway in an event that had happened before the law was changed?

This is how really bad, old laws that were created with political, racial, or sexiest reasons get repealed....after they have been exploited.

People have been living in North America for 400+ years... laws made in the 16, 17, 1800s get buried and forgotten until someone rediscovers them in a town hall, or old folks pass them down via stories. Then shit like this happens and they get insta-repealed.

if you've seen the video of Ahmaud being confronted by police for parking his vehicle in the middle of the grass at a park, then you'd see it was only a matter of time before this troubled individual was going to be perforated by a citizen with a gun and a short fuse

reply

Kinda victim blamey.

Who would violently approach a man with a gun following you?

There is this guy following me with a gun. Let me try and sneak attack him and take it?

reply

only a victim because he chose to be a criminal who messed with the wrong rednecks

reply

Prior to Independence, it was either British or Spanish law. I don't know how much was carried over.

reply

Do you mean the law that was thrown out,
or the law they brought in?

reply

They passed hate-crime bill and threw out citizen's arrest civil war era law. More or less they progressed after Ahmaud's death.

reply

indeed , but TheMan op post suggests he doesent see the benefit of that.
