The like to dislike ratio is hilarious on their last recent videos. It got so bad in the comment section that posts are now being deleted. So now everyone is just copying and pasting this...
“Don't try to ruin my life with lies when yours can be ruined with the truth." - Gina Carano
It is about time the actual fans started speaking up.
Lucasfilm are a disgrace and need to shown up for the hypocrites they are. KK is a vile woman who needs to be removed. She calls for inclusivity and diversity unless you disagree with her and think different or in this case actually become more popular than her trash projects that no one cares about.
Yes, KK is so vile calling for diversity. Let's stick with the whiny Carano who pretends to be oppressed just because she makes a fool out of herself in public.
We know what you stand for, and it's not worth anything. You're a dinosaur.
She didn't do anything of the sort but keep on towing the lie.
KK version of diversity is being a woman, that is it, not really very diverse is it. Lucasfilm are in bed with the CCP and openly racist towards there own cast. If you are happy with that then I'm quite happy being a dinosaur.

Oh, she didn't pretend to be like a Jew being turned over to the Nazis?
Nope not even close but good try. Once again just keep repeating what you have been told to by the MSM.
Her tweet was showing what happened in 1930's Germany and what led upto the start of the 2nd WW. Germany started a country wide campaign to blame Jews for everything and push for your friends and neighbours to be openly anti-semetic and even attack them in the streets. She was comparing the current political enviroment where if you vote a particular way or you think differently to the rabib left that you are immediately attacked and cancelled just like what happened to her. She did not compare herself, Republicans or Democrats to being Jewish. She was stating not to attack your friends and neighbours just because they might be or think different to you.
The fact people still can't see this and the fact she was fired proves her point 100%.
It also shows the same mentality by what you are doing here by determining who I am based on what I have written with no context of who I am and what I am like. Again she was right. reply share
"It is about time the actual fans started speaking up."
You mean me!
I've been complaining about the racist manbabies and intels for years, so there's no surprise that they support a QAnon nut like Carano. I'm glad she's gone since she'll no longer stink up future Mandalorian episodes which I'll now be able to enjoy in peace. Unlike the republican party, Disney has no interest in catering to bigots and misogynists.
BTW, SW was about "inclusivity and diversity" under liberal Lucas. And the SW fans I know don't care about Carano, only upcoming SW shows.
I don't know if this post belongs in politics but yeah they absolutely should be as its the only outlet for fans to voice their opinions as Kathleen Kennedy and her feminists whackjob employees have driven the Star Wars property into the ground over their hatred of anything with a penis. Gina Carano is an actual strong female character on The Mandalorian but apparently she had to go for not believing in the victim complex feminists force on women.
Also the High Republic project has two black women one as a writer the other being the web series host who have been ratted out from past tweets for being racists towards whites. Lucasfilm are run by hypocrites with the people in charge constantly trolling and showing nothing but contempt for lifelong Star Wars Fans.
It's not racist when blacks do it though, according to the left. The new racism is not racism, it's just a new way of indoctrinating and make it fine/normal.
Naw, he made the right choice. You should see how much he makes off it. Oh the royalties. I would too since it's just a money making machine and wouldn't care about the political landscape surrounding it.
George royally fucked up when he kept tinkering with the originals, refused to let people see the unedited versions of them, and made the prequels. Fuck him.
"Pedro Pascal, who plays the Mandalorian on Disney Plus, was not fired for this post on Instagram comparing Trump supporters to Nazis and Confederates,” tweeted one frustrated critic."
That's because what Pascal tweeted is true and what Carano tweeted was her anti-Semitic opinion.
Not all Trump supporters are Nazis and confederates, but all Nazis and confederates are Trump supporters.
Exhibit D:
FBI Director Wray says Capitol assault domestic terrorism
"The director said it is getting harder and harder to identify the motives of domestic extremists, but added that racially motivated extremist cases are "the biggest chunk of our domestic terrorism caseload overall.""
Exhibit E:
"Authoritarian Nightmare: Trump and his followers"
This book explains who Trump's ardent followers are. A main reason is racism.
probly just get the usual "your a loony libtard , and everthings your fault , even all the stuff Trump did like the cap hill invasion , and your evil; and want to destroty our contry" type response though
Too bad it has nothing to do with likes or dislikes and more to do with fans supporting Gina Carano. TBH I think every strong proud independent woman should be supporting her right now.
I love Star Wars and support diversity and inclusivity in media, but KK botched the sequel trilogy so bad I don't think she should be running things. We did get The Mando under her reign but doubt she had much to do with its success.
What makes you think she has everything to do with a perceived (by you) failure, but little to do with a success?
Do you have evidence?
She hired the makers of Mandalorian to create that show the same way she hired the makers of the sequel trilogy to create those movies.
The way I see it, George Lucas not being involved in the development of Mandalorian at all is the distinguising feature of that show compared with the sequels which still have threads of his involvement at the start.
I don't have evidence but almost all of the youtubers that aren't incels, that don't make thumbnails with "Rey
is a Mary Sue!" And are people I generally respect, all point the blame at the person in charge. She's no nerd, she was a jock who got into business and ascended the ranks. There are things I like about the sequel trilogy also, but in general, the potential was squandered (TROS being the worst one). A lot of it has to do with what ultra said below about not having a plan. But you are right Martoto, it is only fair that I complement her for the success of Mando. I still think she should move on and let someone with imagination, and a willingness to take risks take over. KK's SW movies made a ton of money but it doesn't mean they were good.
Her first job was running press relations at amblin. Spielberg then began giving her more production duties when she provided valuable creative ideas and feedback.
I don't see how nerds and jocks comes into it. At all.
Yeah, KK is just a suit. It's like people want to accuse her for interfering with someone else's creative vision. The reality is there was a serious lack of creative vision for the films. And now Disney+ Star Wars has that creative vision with Filoni and Favreau, and she's letting them do their thing without interference as she has always done.
The biggest problem with the Disney Star Wars films was The Last Jedi. And it came to be because KK let Rian Johnson do whatever he wanted.
Again, we have a double standard here of "KK is doing her job hiring F&F and not getting in the way of their creative vision of a string of glorified cameos for nostalgia heavy existing characters." vs "The problem is she hired Rian Johnson and then just let him do what he wanted with the last jedi." People make it sound like Johnson was just hired and then let loose without any conversation and agreement over what he planned to do with the last jedi.
I don't fault her for it because I see what she was doing. She wanted to branch it out on the three guys Abrams, Johnson and Trevorrow figuring one was bound to hit gold. It was a good idea on paper, but didn't quite pan out in practice.
I most definitely credit her for accepting F&F. Fans really didn't start screaming for Filoni to take over until after Last Jedi. KK had already told Favreau earlier in the year to meet with Filoni for Favreau's Mandalorian idea.
Clearly Kennedy did not simply hope that of the three directors hired for the sequels one would make a successful movie. The first and second movies were both successful. But a few fans didn't get what they wanted so they been spraying verbal diarrhea about it since.
Filoni to take over what? He's not a studio president or an executive. He's not even a feature film writer director. Only half material he's produced for SW (mainly the clone wars) on his own has been well liked. And not even by all fans.
Even his episode of Mandalorian season 1 is considered the poorest by most fans.
KK hoped all of the writer-directors would come up with a great story, but branched it out to decrease the possibility the whole endeavor would be crap. It wasn't crap. Abrams did a pretty good job in the first one. The second movie was financially successful because it followed it. The $700 million drop was because Johnson falsely thought subverting expectations was somehow what fans wanted. Then Trevorrow dropped out, so that left KK with the only option of bringing Abrams back to write something in a jiffy and direct it in order to make the 2019 release date.
Fans were calling for Filoni to take over KK's job, which I agree is ridiculous. But KK made the right call in having Filoni and Favreau replace Benioff and Weiss.
They wanted Abrams to do the trilogy but he didn't want to. It wasn't branched out to mitigate risk at all.
Johnson was given the task of picking up the story literally where TFA left it. Abrams had told the audience that Luke Skywalker had disappeared after walking away from everything following the destruction of his jedi academy.
That left Johnson in the position of explaining why Luke would want to be absent. And in an interview he admitted that this might subvert some fan's expectations of an unambiguously heroic return of the previous trilogy's main character.
The idea that Johnson just willfully imposed subversion on to Star Wars for his own entertainment is as ridiculous as Filoni "taking over" Lucasfilm.
I wouldn't say KK botched it, but she deserves part of the blame. It's the same studio stuff we see all the time. Universal "botched" Jurassic World and its Dark Universe, Fox "botched" the X-Men, and WB "botched" its DCEU, Fantastic Beasts and Godzilla properties.
What it is, is a lack of planning it out ahead. They hired Rian Johnson and Colin Trevorrow to write and direct the sequels before JJ Abrams' Force Awakens even hit theaters.
To say they should have planned it all out and complain that the follow up episodes were being written before the first one of the trilogy was released?
Yes I know when they were hired. They hired Johnson amd Treverrow at that time because they couldn't get their preferred director to commit to all three. Why would they wait till TFA was in theatres before hiring someone to begin writing the next episode?
WTF? This thread is specifically about the likes an dislikes on YT, which are supposedly to do with supporting Carano.
And not as many fans support Carano as her supporters like to think. Not once have a I read or heard a Star Wars fan say "I was a big fan of everything until they said that Cara Dune wasn't coming back in S3".
It's a myth. Same as her being "fired" and only hearing about it on twitter is a myth.
In the fan message boards I've visited there's about half a dozen people who were already anti Disney calling this the last straw (again). But most people don't have a burning desire or need for her character to return.
